A setting of a classic “Talking Dog Joke” for brass quintet where the Horn player takes also the role of the narrator. A virtuoso piece of trivia designed to be an amusing antidote to the ubiquitous arrangements of Renaissance digestives. It also gives the horn player a slight break from his normal role and the chance to make himself more popular with the audience than his colleagues will ever be?
